Hi, I'm Dr. Yael Bali
I was born and raised in Mexico City and ever since I was a child, animals have been a big part of my life. I loved helping them in any way I could. I found that the best way to continue doing it was to become a veterinarian.
In June 1992, I graduated from Veterinary School at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and began working as a conventional vet.
I eventually got married, moved to Cancun, Mexico, and built a family. Living in Cancun, I witnessed the alarming pollution of plastic in the ocean. During this time, I volunteered as a coordinator of the area Cancun/Tulum for the Ocean’s conservancy International Coastal Clean-up Program”.
In my view, the health of our earth is as important as our own and all animals’ health. Based on this principle, I also support vegan diets for dogs.
I came across acupuncture as a way of helping a dog named Pippo. Pippo was hit by a car and suffered paralysis in all four legs. Initially, back in 2005, I got certified in acupuncture for humans, then in 2009 in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) at the Chi University in Florida, USA. The program included acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and food therapy for animals. TCVM proved to be an effective alternative approach to defining, preventing, and treating disease.
To maximize Pippo’s recovery I also got certified in Canine Physical Rehabilitation by the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in the same year.
As part of my continued education, I added Ozone therapy to my toolbox which I studied in Madrid, Spain, at Instituto Lineo in 2015 as well as Bioregulatory Medicine, through the CIVT (College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies).
In December 2010 my family and I moved to Israel. Today my practice is located in Binyamina, HaSarig St 2, Mall HaPil.
