Bioregulatory Medicine (Homotoxicology)
Bioregulatory medicine uses natural remedies to regulate the body’s biological functions, reinforce the defense mechanisms, get rid of toxins, and thus promote healing.
Based on the concept developed by Heinrich Reckeweg, a German physician who defines disease and its symptoms as the effects of poor nutrition and increased toxicity in the body. The disease is seen as a self-healing intent of the body to eliminate toxins or control their effect. In order to heal all toxins must be expelled from the body. It is done by the administration of specific formulas that stimulate the body’s inherent capacity to heal itself by activating a complex set of bioregulatory mechanisms to improve cell metabolism and restore body functions.
